Terms of Use

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Welcome to FreeOnlineBible.com. Using the site means you agree to these terms — they're short and written to be read.

The site is free

Reading the Bible and using every study tool on this site is free and requires no account. The Scripture text we publish (King James Version, World English Bible, American Standard Version, Young's Literal Translation, Webster's Bible, and Darby Translation) is in the public domain — you may copy, quote, and share it freely.

Our original content

Our own editorial content — devotionals, study guides, articles, page design, and tools — belongs to FreeOnlineBible.com. You're welcome to quote and share it with a link back; please don't republish it wholesale or present it as your own.

Accounts

Accounts use passwordless email sign-in. You're responsible for keeping access to your email address secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the site (spam, scraping at scale, attempting to break things). You can delete your account at any time from settings.

Community content

Prayer requests and notes you choose to share publicly are reviewed before they appear, and we may decline or remove anything at our discretion — including content that is abusive, commercial, off-topic, or that shares someone else's personal information. By sharing content publicly you give us permission to display it on the site.

Store purchases

Digital products purchased in the store are delivered as downloads to your email or account. Payment is processed by Stripe. Download links are limited-use; if a link expires before you could use it, contact us and we'll put it right. If a purchase didn't deliver what it promised, we'll refund it — just get in touch.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We work hard on accuracy — every verse is imported from established public-domain sources — but we can't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

Not professional advice

Content on this site is devotional and educational. It isn't a substitute for professional counsel — medical, legal, financial, or pastoral care from someone who knows your situation.

Changes

We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
