Nehemiah 13:17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? Nehemiah 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath. Nehemiah 13:27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives? Esther 7:6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen. Job 2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job 2:11 Now when Job' s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. Job 5:19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. Job 20:12 Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue; Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Job 22:5 Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite? Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me : and when I waited for light, there came darkness. Job 31:29 If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him: Job 35:12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. Job 42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. Psalms 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
