Hosea 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth -aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it. Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. Hosea 14:8 Ephraim shall say , What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him , and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Joel 1:16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea , joy and gladness from the house of our God? Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
