Esther 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:) Esther 2:13 Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king' s house. Esther 3:13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king' s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. Esther 4:2 And came even before the king' s gate: for none might enter into the king' s gate clothed with sackcloth. Esther 5:3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom. Esther 5:6 And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed. Esther 7:2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom. Esther 8:9 Then were the king' s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is , the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, a hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. Job 2:7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. Job 4:5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled. Job 5:9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: Job 6:20 They were confounded because they had hoped; they came thither, and were ashamed. Job 7:4 When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day. Job 7:19 How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle? Job 8:2 How long wilt thou speak these things ? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? Job 8:21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. Job 9:10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number. Job 11:7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? Job 14:6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. Job 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 18:2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. Job 19:2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? Job 20:5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
