Deuteronomy 23:4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs. Joshua 16:1 And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el, Joshua 18:15 And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjath -jearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah.
