Genesis 12:10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. Genesis 13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Genesis 41:31 And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous. Genesis 50:11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abel -mizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
