Genesis 30:24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son. Genesis 30:25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. Genesis 33:2 And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost. Genesis 33:7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. Genesis 35:24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin: Genesis 37:2 These are the generations of Jacob. Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. Genesis 37:13 And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I . Genesis 37:17 And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan. Genesis 37:23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him; Genesis 37:28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. Genesis 37:29 And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes. Genesis 37:31 And they took Joseph' s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; Genesis 37:33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son' s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. Genesis 39:1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. Genesis 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. Genesis 39:5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian' s house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. Genesis 39:6 And he left all that he had in Joseph' s hand; and he knew not aught he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person , and well favored. Genesis 39:7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master' s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. Genesis 39:10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. Genesis 39:20 And Joseph' s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king' s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. Genesis 39:22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph' s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it .
